National Community Reinvestment Coalition (NCRC) in partnership with the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) cordially invites Housing counselors and non-profit leaders to participate in a five-day workshop providing critical information and tools to help housing counselors develop educational programs for prospective homeowners.
This course will train counselors on conducting results-oriented individual couseling session for prospective homebuyers to move them on the path to mortgage-readiness.
The objectives for this training are:
To learn how to address financial literacy;
To learn how to analyze household budgets;
To Learn how to develop action plans for success;
To learn how to address predatory lending situations
Pre-register for the upcoming session and plan to attend the entire five-day training to receive a certificate of completion. Participation is open to all not-for-profit organizations and/or state or local agencies that provide housing counseling or fair housing services.
