National Conference
NCRC's signature event is its annual conference. This multi-day gathering brings together hundreds of community leaders, development experts, bankers, legislators, regulators, academics and others. Participants explore and debate the state of the industry and measures needed to ensure fair access to capital and to bring more people into the financial mainstream.
The conference's keynote speakers are leading politicians and opinion-makers, and the event features in-depth workshops, trainings and special events. Past conference speakers have included former Federal Reserve Chair Alan Greenspan, Senator Hillary Clinton, Congressman Barney Frank, the Rev. Jesse Jackson and others.
Our coalition efforts are most apparent during our national conference, held annually in Washington, DC. The conference is our premier training and networking event of the year, and an opportunity to bring together the brightest stars in government, academia and the financial services industry with real grassroots and community organizations, in order to craft and promote solutions that bring low- and moderate- income people into the financial mainstream.
Below is the draft agenda for our 2010 National Conference. Please visit our brand new conference website at http://www.2010ncrcconference.org/ for all of the latest details regarding next year's conference.
