Special Assistant, Chiefs of Membership & Policy and Communications & Marketing
Emma serves as Special Assistant to NCRC’s Chiefs of Membership & Policy and Communications & Marketing. Prior to joining NCRC, she worked as a policy analyst the U.S. Department of Justice’s Office on Violence Against Women and as an advocate and communications director at the Afro-Peruvian Women’s Development Center in Lima, Peru, where her work engaged the intersections of economic, racial and gender justice. Emma earned her B.A. in Hispanic Studies and Women’s, Gender & Sexuality Studies from Macalester College, and her M.A. in Women’s Gender & Sexuality Studies with a concentration in transnational political economy from George Washington University.
