A new survey from NPR, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health reveals that households of color are facing serious financial problems during the coronavirus outbreak, despite the government’s efforts to intervene with stacks of money.

The majority of Latino (72%), Black (60%) and Native American (55%) households report facing serious financial problems during the coronavirus outbreak, versus just 27% of Asian and 36% of White households reporting the same struggle.

The Impact of Coronavirus on Households, By Race/Ethnicity survey took place between July and August of this year, and surveyed more than 3,400 adults across the U.S.
