Learn how HUD is now taking steps to reinvigorate the AFFH requirement and will require local and state governments and housing authorities to commit to fair housing plans (called Equity Plans). What kind of housing policies will this new AFFH rule look at, and what kind of improvements could the DC region make to advance fair housing goals? These questions touch on housing programs such as Housing Choice Vouchers, inclusionary housing, rent stabilization, Low-Income Housing Tax Credits, homeownership supports, and more.
