Casita Coalition: 2023 Build the Middle National Housing Convening

NCRC’s Chief of Community Finance and Mobility Marisa Calderon will be speaking at Casita Coalition’s inaugural policy convening. This gathering will also feature interactive breakout sessions on some of the most pressing middle housing topics led by a diverse set of cross-sector housing changemakers.

Calderon will be speaking in the session titled “Creating the Financial Ecosystem: Breaking Down the Barriers Necessary to Ensure Liquidity and Wide Availability of Financial Products for Everyday Families” with Susan Geddes Brown, CEO of CoreSGB; Julee Felsman, SVP of Mortgage Lending at GuaranteedRate; and Dottie Sheppick, Founder of Specialty Mortgage Product Solutions. The goal of the convening is to share strategies, innovate solutions, accelerate learning across public, private, and nonprofit sectors, and strengthen relationships among people working on middle housing reform throughout the country.
