How America Banks: A conversation about the 2019 FDIC Household Survey
November 17, 2020, 3:30 pm EST - 4:30 pm EST
Every two years the FDIC and the Census bureau produce a survey of how Americans households bank. The 2019 FDIC survey was released in October (click here to explore the data interactively). This event will host Karyen Chu, Chief of the FDIC Banking Research Section, to discuss its methods and findings. Join us at this event to geek out a bit and learn about the survey data, methodology, and results. There have been some changes to the methods used this year and the impact of COVID-19 and emergent P2P payment services are discussed.
