Meet The Team
Caitlin Rountree
Caitie Rountree is NCRC’s Director of Membership and Events. She joined NCRC in 2011 after doing faith-based community organizing in Toledo, Ohio, with the DART Center. Caitie is responsible for growing NCRC’s membership and ensuring that NCRC members are equipped in their efforts to build wealth in their communities. She also oversees NCRC’s Just Economy Conference and statewide summits. Caitie lives in Richmond, Virginia, where she chairs the board of Urban Hope, an affordable housing organization serving the rapidly-gentrifying East End of Richmond. She is a graduate of the College of William and Mary.
Chloe Sabharwal
Chloe Sabharwal is NCRC’s Conference and Events Manager. In addition to managing the Just Economy Conference and NCRC’s regional summits, she is also responsible for ensuring our events support our organizing work and engage our members. Chloe previously served as NCRC’s Membership and Events Organizer from 2016 through 2019, playing an key role in NCRC’s organizing, membership and conference planning work. She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland, where she majored in Economics and minored in Spanish Language, Business and Cultures.
Diane Hsiung
Diane Hsiung is NCRC’s Membership Engagement Manager. She is responsible for the development and implementation of membership systems and programs to recruit and retain NCRC’s members. Before joining NCRC in 2022, Diane worked at the Association of Community College Trustees (ACCT) where she oversaw its membership activities and services. Diane earned a B.A in Political Science from American University.
Haley Schneider
Haley Schneider serves as the Conference & Events Specialist for NCRC. Haley received her Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University, with a focus on Management and Communications. Her involvement with nonprofits and community development projects inspired her to further her education at the Bush School of Government and Public Service, where she earned her Master of Public Administration specializing in Nonprofit Management. During her graduate degree, she worked in client relations and database management for Allies Against Slavery, an anti-human trafficking organization. This experience was transformative in her understanding of the importance of coalition building to create systemic change. An enthusiastic advocate and visionary, Haley is dedicated to uniting individuals and organizations in the relentless pursuit of social justice.
Ralph Cyrus
Ralph Cyrus is the membership engagement specialist at NCRC. Ralph is an alum of the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, holding a bachelor’s degree in political science, with a concentration in legal policy. During his undergraduate career, he interned in the U.S. Senate, and worked with community nonprofits in the Washington metro area as an AmeriCorps Vista. Prior to this role, Ralph served as the in kind donations coordinator for Miriam’s Kitchen, coordinating food resources for the meals program Miriam’s Kitchen. Ralph is passionate about tackling food insecurity and food desserts. As a DMV native, Ralph enjoys gogo, Washington sports teams, and cooking.
