Meet The Team
Devin Mack
Devin Mack is NCRC’s Director of Fair and Equitable Opportunity. He is an experienced attorney advocate and financial services professional who is passionate about safeguarding the rights of consumers and committed to advancing economic opportunities in marginalized communities. Prior to joining NCRC, Devin served as a policy advisor on nonbanks (i.e. fintech and credit unions) at the US Treasury in the Office of Financial Institutions Policy, where he advised leadership on initiatives to increase financial inclusion in low- and moderate-income communities. Before the Treasury, Devin was a Senior Attorney Advisor with the Social Security Administration where he counseled Administrative Law and Appeals Judges and oversaw the adjudication of hundreds of cases.
Prior to becoming a practicing attorney, Devin worked at two large credit unions for over a decade in “know your customer” and consumer lending roles. In his positions, Devin attained experience with fair lending and UDAAP anti-discriminatory laws, such as the ECOA.
Devin holds a BA from the Commonwealth Honors College at the University of Massachusetts – Amherst; a JD from American University – Washington College of Law; and an LLM (Masters of Laws) in Business and Finance Law from the George Washington University Law School, where he completed his thesis titled: The Cost of Credit: Protecting consumers in a regulated fringe credit market. He is a member of the DC Bar and the American Bar Association’s Affordable Housing and Community Development group. Devin lives in Washington, DC, and enjoys exploring the city, working out, meaningful conversations and amazing food.

Lara is the Fair Housing & Fair Lending Program Coordinator at NCRC. Prior to working with NCRC, Lara worked in international development with various nonprofits. Lara holds a bachelor’s degree in History & a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Missouri. She received her law degree from the University of Missouri School of Law. She is a member of the Missouri Bar. Lara lives in Alexandria, Virginia, with her husband and her dog.
Sara Oros
Sara Oros is the Program Manager for the Fair and Equitable Opportunity team at NCRC. In this capacity, she works on HUD grants and private testing projects to ensure lenders, landlords, and real estate companies are compliant with the Fair Housing Act and the Equal Credit Opportunity Act. Prior to her role as a program manager, she was a fair housing testing coordinator at NCRC. She has designed, conducted, and analyzed over 800 civil rights tests focused on mortgage lending, home sales, rental sales, small business lending, internet algorithms, and insurance sales. Additionally, she has co-authored multiple white papers on discrimination and barriers to access in the pre-application phase of the small business lending market. She received a bachelor’s degree in political science from Gannon University in Erie, Pennsylvania.
