Developing a Community-Driven Approach to Federally-Eligible SNAP E&T Activities

June 17 , 2:00 pm EDT 3:15 pm EDT

Join us for an opportunity to hear from community-based organizations from our National network implementing SNAP Employment & Training at various stages of program maturity. We’ll share emerging best practices for third-party SNAP E&T community providers implementing programming and driving opportunities for their residents. Community-based organizations have a unique role as the most proximate service providers, representatives, and advocates for their communities.

Session participants will understand how federally administered comprehensive supports that promote resident economic self-sufficiency and employment in high-quality jobs can bolster their organizations’ services. Additionally, participants will learn about program design and support that engages local partners, leverages resources, and aligns with community needs.

Participants can ask questions during this interactive webinar to clarify main concepts and discuss implementation strategies. Gain a unique perspective for working across state and local workforce agencies, training and education partners, employers, and philanthropy to serve communities.
