Engaging HBCUs: Building Effective Partnerships and Programs

Join NCRC’s National Training Academy for this session on building partnerships with HBCUs. Although HBCUs were initially founded pre-1964, to educate Black American students, the landscape and composition of HBCU’s has evolved. They enroll all races and ethnicities and according to the National Center for Education Statistics, in 2022, non-Black students made up twenty-four percent of enrollment at HBCUs, compared to fifteen percent in 1976 (The Institute of Educational Sciences, 2025)

Inclusive wealth-building opportunities

HBCUs’ evolving impact and relevance

Educational equity and socioeconomic trends

Cross-sector collaboration strategies
