Civil rights leader Vernon Jordan died Monday (March 1, 2021). John Taylor, President and Founder of the National Community Reinvestment Coalition, made the following statement:
“Jordan was a pillar in the movement for civil rights. His commitment to justice will be displayed in the progress of the many he impacted. He was a true soul of our human kindness and consciousness.
“We are blessed to have known him.“
